“Protecting and Fulfilling the Rights of the Child in the Light of Faith”

On October 1-2, 2013, the JPICC held a General Assembly with a theme; The Spirituality of Justice and Reconciliation of the Whole Creation. The venue was in Phillip Sanctuary in Antipolo. There were 35 Religious congregations participating to this event including the Salvatorian Sisters through the presence and organizing committee member, Sr. Mary Adeline Abamo, SDS. The group was also inspired and challenged by the talk of a resource person; Fr. Percival Bacani, MJ when he said: "Anything we do affects the creation... How can we talk about love and compassion when the earth is dying? "
Therefore each one of us needs to develop the positive connections between the earth and community for the care and protection of the environment. This means greening spirituality.
