Success! Wonderful! Clear! Precise! Excellent! Enjoyable! Interesting! These were just some of the feelings generated after the concluded Levelling-Off between the Parish Priest, Fr. Rodrigo ‘Diggs’ Salac, SVD, SAJP Program Coordinator Sr. Ma. Soledad Cantos, SDS and the SPCC Staff. Fr. Diggs have made specific and straightforward explanations and expectations, which concerns the partnership.Just to share some of the few: “In the immediate past, I have not said anything about your work and the way you are doing it. This time, I want to be an integral part of it.” “As a necessary element of the Parish Organization, your work must lead ‘your people’ towards active participation in the celebration of the Liturgy.” Moreover, where is the rightful place of SPCC in the BEC Organigram? “Since SPCC parish objective is to organize AJCPD, and in as much as there is already an existing group of CRAs (youth and adult) a proper job description for this group must be put in place in order to function properly and to avoid misunderstanding and conflict with other parish organizations.” Therefore, CRA-Adults will enter into the Formation Team on the area of Child protection. Its SVD characteristic dimension is Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) and in the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) structure, it belongs to Services in the Worship, Education, Services, Temporalities and Youth (WESTY). The group, after its formal meeting also had time to relax and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation by the beach at Panglao, Bohol.
